I see myself as a lifelong student. I have enjoyed my journey through education and it has certainly shaped me in many ways into the person I am today. I have always tried to get as much out of the different stages of schooling – from high school, through undergrad and studying abroad, up to graduate school.
Whitehall High School
I am not ashamed to admit that I really did enjoy high school. I feel very fortunate to have had a such great experience, never really one of the “cool kids,” but never an outcast. I was able to fit in with many different groups of classmates from choir, to sports, to school theater performances, – I had a wonderful circle of friends who provided all the support I needed. I generally got along well with my teachers as well, many of whom provided the inspiration for me to eventually become a teacher myself
